How I use this
method in practice

This is my personal page for those holding a jar of IGMA RUTIN ASCORBIC MAX. Not medical advice — simply the routine I have been using for decades.

Before you read on.

I have been using this method for decades — starting with Rutinoscorbin, today using IGMA RUTIN ASCORBIC MAX. For me, it is the most effective way I know to deal with flu — though it is only a supplement, not a medicine.

The only registered medicine based on the same compounds is Rutinoscorbin — registered in Poland as an immunity-supporting medicine. The only OTC medicine in this method is Strepsils. Neither IGMA RUTIN ASCORBIC MAX nor Strepsils is a treatment for any disease.

Always consult a doctor if symptoms are severe or persistent.

Early Response Action —
the basics.

A level scoop every day — like a trusted companion always by your side. The moment you sense something coming, you don't wait. You call for reinforcements.

Daily support

One level scoop once a day — all year round. Stay ready before anything starts.

⚡ At the first sign — E.R.A.

One heaped scoop, up to 3× a day, for as long as symptoms last. Don't wait to be sure. That's the whole point.

At the same time — antiseptic lozenge or throat spray. Not necessarily because the throat is sore. If a virus is entering, it's most likely coming through the mouth and nose. Disinfect the entry point early.

My choice: Strepsils Sore Throat & Blocked Nose (Ireland, UK) · Menthe Glaciale (France) · or any locally available antiseptic lozenge or spray.

How to take it

The powder dissolves easily in water or any sweet drink. It has a noticeably sour, citrusy taste — easy to mask with juice or squash.

As a reference: 1 level scoop ≈ half a level teaspoon · 1 heaped scoop ≈ half a heaped teaspoon

Level scoop vs heaped scoop

Left: level scoop (daily prevention)  ·  Right: heaped scoop (at first signs)

When I actually reach for it.

I catch infections more easily than most people. I say — only half-joking — that I could catch flu from a phone call with someone who's ill. Over decades I have worked out exactly when to act.

When someone nearby coughs or sneezes

On a bus, in a shop, anywhere enclosed — if someone near me is visibly ill, my first move before bed that evening is a heaped scoop. I don't wait for symptoms. The exposure itself is enough reason.

After ice cream — or anything cold

A large tub of ice cream is, for me, a known risk. I take a heaped scoop straight after. But not only ice cream — any situation that weakens me. Even waking in the night with a feeling of warmth, a blocked nose, or a scratchy throat — that's enough. I don't wait until morning. I act immediately.

After getting cold and wet

Caught in the rain, or just genuinely cold for a while — heaped scoop. Same logic: don't wait for the body to signal something is wrong. Act on the risk.

Keep temperature under control.

The Flu-Fighter E.R.A. works best when body temperature stays in check. The moment I start feeling overheated — I remove a layer, briefly open a window, avoid heavy blankets.

Personally — when I feel the first signs of a raised temperature — I take an anti-inflammatory tablet. My experience shows that biochemical support works more effectively when the body is not overheated.

Flu-Fighter E.R.A.

Biochemical support + temperature control. Act early, act fast, stay cool.

Traditional method

Rest, sweating it out, hot tea with lemon and honey, warm blankets. Proven through generations.

Both work. I chose the first. Don't mix them — in my experience they produce opposing effects.

Younger users.

AgeDose
12 and above Same as adults.
Ages 6–12 At first signs: 1 level scoop up to 3× daily. Dissolve in juice or a sweet drink.
Practical tip: dissolve 1 heaped scoop in a small bottle of their favourite drink and give in three portions throughout the day.

Preventively (when other children at school are ill): ½ to 1 level scoop daily — dissolved in a small bottle of drink and given in small portions through the day.

Always observe the child's response and reduce the amount if any digestive discomfort appears. If unsure, consult a healthcare professional.

For local throat support — Strepsils Junior or a children's throat spray. Same logic: disinfect the entry point early.

Quick answers.

Can a scratchy throat be the first sign?

Yes — in my experience it's often the earliest warning, before anything stronger appears.

Should you wait for fever before reacting?

No. The point of E.R.A. is to act before fever. Fatigue, mild throat irritation, unusual warmth — that's the moment.

Can IGMA RUTIN ASCORBIC MAX be taken at any time?

Yes. As a food supplement it can be taken during illness, at first signs, or as daily maintenance — no restrictions.

A personal method —
not a protocol.

The Flu-Fighter E.R.A. is based on personal experience and decades of practical observation. I am not a doctor. I focus on early response and practical immune support at the moment it matters most.

If symptoms are severe or persistent — consult a healthcare professional.
