Hantavirus & Ebola —
what you need to know

This page provides general information only. It is not medical advice. Flu-Fighter.com is an independent educational platform.

Hantavirus is already present in Europe

Hantavirus is not something entirely new or exotic. It occurs endemically across Central Europe — in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Scandinavia. It is most commonly transmitted through contact with rodents.

European strains typically cause a milder course of illness and are often mistaken for flu, a heavy cold, or general exhaustion. Symptoms may include:

In practice, some people may have already had it without knowing. Severe cases are rare with European strains.

Andes virus — facts without panic

The Andes virus, originating in South America, is the only known hantavirus strain that can — in rare cases — spread from person to person, primarily through very close, prolonged contact with an ill person. It does not spread through casual contact.

It was this strain that was responsible for the cases aboard the MV Hondius in 2026 — an event that made international headlines.

Fatality rate: approximately 35–40% in confirmed HPS (Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome) cases.

Symptoms begin like flu — fever, muscle pain, fatigue. Serious respiratory symptoms may appear only days later. This gives time to react.

The transmission window is very narrow. The virus requires very close, prolonged contact during the symptomatic phase. Passing someone in a corridor does not represent a realistic risk.

If you suspect contact with someone who may have Andes virus:

There is no approved vaccination.

There is no proven cure.

The only thing we can do — is strengthen our immune system.

Do not wait for symptoms to worsen. Act early. This is exactly the moment when timing matters most.

Ebola — the same vascular target

The Ebola virus works in a partially similar way to hantavirus, though significantly more aggressively. Here too, the virus disrupts the function of blood vessel wall cells and triggers a powerful inflammatory response. In severe cases this can lead to vascular leakage, clotting disorders, and organ damage.

This does not mean that every exposure leads to severe illness. The viral load, speed of immune response, general health, and quality of medical care all play a significant role.

Calmly and sensibly

  • hantavirus has been known to medicine for decades
  • European strains typically follow a milder course
  • the Andes virus originates geographically in South America
  • the risk of widespread transmission in Europe remains low
  • modern diagnostics and epidemiological monitoring are far better than in the past

What matters most is taking care of your body, supporting your immunity, and reacting quickly when something feels wrong.

What can we do?

Many people focus on supporting the body through a proper diet, sleep, hydration, and supplementation that supports immunity, vascular integrity, and antioxidant protection.

IGMA RUTIN ASCORBIC MAX may be part of such support — through the combination of rutin and ascorbic acid in high, practical doses. Both compounds are known for their role in supporting immune function and antioxidant protection. In the context of viruses that target blood vessel walls — such as hantavirus and Ebola — rutin plays a particularly relevant role, given its well-documented properties in supporting vascular wall strength.

It should be noted that this is a food supplement, not a medicine. The foundation remains prevention, common sense, and medical care when needed.
